A Very Special Fragrance

Just For Fun

I’d forgotten about this advert until it was shown on what is quite possibly my favourite non-black-comedy TV program, The Gruen Transfer.

Who knew a chop could be so sexy?

wow… that takes lamb-sicles to a whole new level. Lamb-sicles is what the girls called them the first time they had them, and it just stuck.
thanks for sharing!

Isn't The Gruen Transfer the best. I love watching that show!! Now thanks to iView we all can, anytime.

well, okay. The commercial was for lamb, not a fragrance called 'lamb' right? Then yes, totally. See a package of lamb chops in the grocery store. Picture commercial. Laugh out loud. I think I would at least consider buying them. Of course, I do like lamb. If it was a commercial for an actual fragrance … well, who in their right mind would do that??

Hahahhaaa! I know, that would just be SO wrong.

I'll give some of the history. Sheep overall were Australia's most important produce up until the 1970s…when they went into sharp decline for various reasons. In the 90s, there was a push to increase lamb consumption, and it's continued. I posted another example of the campaign back in January…specifically targeted a guilt-tripping a nation into eating lamb on our national day. Lamb sales have gone up 2000% since the campaign started…

Oh my. That's awesome. 'Eat lamb. Be patriotic.' Priceless. Of course we Americans try the same things. Apple pie. Turkey at Thanksgiving. :D

Ha! Though I gotta say, those rolls did not look appealing… :x

And…if you're posting a YouTube vid again, you can click on the Embed Video link just above the comment box, and post the URL link in there. The embed thing works for putting them inside posts (usually…)
